VIPCOS 550 was designed to withstand the rough conditions found in shipping and heavy industry. Its lightweight, impact-resistant and flame-retardant high-density ABS enclosure is tested to IP66 and IP67.

The speaker connects through standard Ethernet and can be powered by PoE. It can receive audio from the VIPCOS Blaster network streamer or operate directly as part of a VIPCOS communication system.
